Good News

After a months have not written, finally I am writing again. Too many subjects want to write but afraid because this blog is read by people.  Wakaka... Besides I am too lazy lately. Yeah that "Lazy" factor, I am struggling fight to remove from worst characters that I have. Now let me telling a story.

Since 2-3 days I always take a notice about my city, Jakarta. Honestly, I don't like Jakarta although this city offer a lot an intersting entertainment to be chosen, easy access for information. Why I don't like it? Yeah because this city is hot, stucking traffic, dusty, and especially high living cost because I am very consumptive.

Yeah talking about Jakarta, of course still fresh in our memory a few months ago Governor and Deputy election. Finally Joko Widodo and Basuki Tjahaya Purnama were chosen for that duty. This topics will not end to discuss soon. Their unusually records amazed me. Lated euphoria for me. It must be admitted in many thing I always be lated. From beginning, I've abreasted with this since Deputy of Governor's anger to university student. Why? Simple answer, "This person is also high tension just like me." Not like I think about important person should restrain anger, always smile, especially poker face like shown by a lot people who admit they are matur, wise, etc. Actually I have story about poker face but not discuss in here. The point is I considered this Deputy of Governor is ordinary person whom could angry not a half god and not fake his personality. 

Curiousity about him, I accessed his personal site. In that site, I read many comments pro and contra him from netter. Also intersted in topics about campaigns that have done by supporters when election. Wow... Really very cohesive supporters. They campaigned this candidate Governor and Deputy not only to Jakarta's people but also Indonesian. Every supporters campaigned and asked their acquaintance to chose this candidate.

Also I've interested with Deputy of Governor statement when he was asked by journalist about Christmas's meaning for him in his open house a days ago. Mr. Basuki Tjahaya Purnama said, "Christmas's meaning for me is about social justice for poor people." WOW once again... This statement is remembering me about God's Word which sound like this, 

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me,

    because he has anointed me
    to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
    and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
¹⁹     to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Luke 4:18-19 NIV

I don't want to offend people of other religions well but I believes Indonesia will fulfill with year of the Lord's favor through the Governor and deputy Governor especially Jakarta. Talk about this actually in the context of these words to convey that Jesus is  revelation of the "Good News ". Therefore, just like the election, how nice if everyone who has heard the "Good News " is offered and persuade people around him/her to confess Jesus Christ is his/her Savior.
